About the Conference

Presented by Disability Psychotherapy Ireland in conjunction with the Callan Institute, Saint John of God Community Services CLG, and the UCD Centre for Disability Studies, University College Dublin.

This conference invites all those interested in Disability Psychotherapy — with a primary focus on intellectual disability across the lifespan — to hear about advances in the field. It explores how disability and psychotherapy for children and adults intersect in education, practice, and supervision.

Through keynote presentations, workshops, and practice discussions, the conference offers a space to learn, reflect, and strengthen psychotherapy practice in ways that promote healing and belonging.
